Borneo would be a really nice place for photography with beautiful beaches just minutes away. I’m glad to be invited for a pre-wedding photography for Kenneth and Joey. Now, sometimes you have to go through a lot of life during difficult times and sometimes things may not just go the way you want it. I learn a lot from this couple.

The story of Larry & Jane ….

The sun was beautiful that day , blue sky great sun beautiful lights and lovely couple, what else could go wrong

I really love the part where the sun finally sets after a tiring photography day, the couple held together till the sun goes down

When it comes to the day of your life , its good to know that there are certain ways where your photographer can take better photos. Here are the 3 Ls to follow.



1. Location: One of the most important aspect i find is the location of the wedding shoot. Usually wealthier people can afford those fancy locations and decorations and thus it is  much easier for a photographer to produce better photos. Choose the right location matters a lot.While you may not afford to have expensive locations for your wedding venue, there are some ways around it.It it’s important to clear your wedding venue, home, etc from distractions. It’s much easier for a photographer to compose well with a lot of empty spaces. So keep the house as spacious as possible and remove the distractions eg stuffs hanging on the wall,
   messy furniture, stuffs on the table in the location where your wedding takes place




2. Lighting: When it comes to photography, I believe nothing plays a more important role than lighting. We usually bring external lights during our assignment. As for me , I prefer a location with more lights eg from the windows,arch, etc . the more lights the merrier. I usually advice my clients to turn all the lights on and open all the windows possible. But of course there are times when your photographer may play a little with low lights settings




3. Look: Not many of us look like a hollywood actor, however there are some preparations that may help. Try to trim down a few months before the big day. A good MUA (make up artist) can make a HUGE difference during that day too! Here are more list of DOs & DONTs during before the big day

   


   Don’t

   • Don’t party too late or drink too much the night before.

   Do’s

   • Clean your nails. If possible, paint your nails with nail polish.
   • Try to get enough sleep!

   
   

It is always great to do photoshoot for gonna-be wed. It was a rather wet day i guess there are some opportunities to get those clouds into the composition as well.
